Description
Terracotta 712 is a warm, earthy orange with a hint of red – muted enough for autumn sewing, yet bright enough to sit happily next to naturals and blues. The shade is solid and even, with no melange effect, so larger pieces such as dresses look calm and uniform.
At 220 g/m², Vanessa is a medium-weight jersey: the knit feels soft and smooth, sits comfortably against the skin and is opaque enough for dresses. The 5% elastane gives noticeable crosswise stretch and good recovery, so cuff areas, sleeves and leggings keep their shape.
The drape is soft and gently flowing while still staying close to the body rather than heavy. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and 155 cm wide.

At 220 g/m², Vanessa is a medium-weight jersey and opaque enough for dresses and skirts. Very tight-fitting styles in pale shades can be different, but Terracotta 712 is a deeper, well-covering colour.
How much does the fabric stretch?
Thanks to 5% elastane, the jersey stretches noticeably across the width and recovers well. That makes it a good choice for close-fitting tops, bodysuits and leggings that need to hold their shape.
How do I care for this jersey?
Wash at 30 °C, iron on a low setting, do not bleach and do not tumble dry. Residual shrinkage is 5%, so pre-wash the fabric before cutting out your pieces.
