Hellblau 252 is a clear, lightened blue with no grey cast – friendly but never loud. It sits happily next to white, natural and deep navy shades, and works just as well with warmer colours.

At 220 gsm Vanessa is a mid-weight jersey: the fabric feels substantial in the hand, drapes smoothly along the body and does not break into restless folds. The 5% elastane gives good crosswise stretch with proper recovery, which keeps cuffs, sleeves and knees in shape. The surface is fine and even, the reverse just as soft – comfortable straight against the skin.

That weight also keeps this light shade opaque enough for dresses and leggings. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

What Vanessa Hellblau is suitable for

Shirts, long-sleeved tops and dresses, because 220 gsm stays opaque even in a pale shade like Hellblau 252.

How much does the fabric shrink?

Residual shrinkage is 5 percent, so wash the fabric at 30 degrees before cutting. Your finished garment will then keep its size after the first trip through the machine.

How do I care for this jersey?

Wash at 30 degrees, iron on a low setting, do not bleach and do not tumble dry. That keeps the colour and the stretch of the cotton-elastane blend intact over many washes.
