Swafing Vanessa Cotton Jersey Plain Grey 183

Grey 183 is a calm mid grey with no blue or brown cast – a shade that sits well next to prints and other plain colours and never looks out of place in a wardrobe.

Made from 94% cotton and 6% elastane, this jersey feels soft and smooth to the touch while still having enough body not to seem thin. At 220 g/m² it is a medium-weight knit: it drapes softly along the body without clinging, and the elastane content helps it spring back into shape after stretching. Stretch runs clearly across the width, with less give along the length.

The surface is even and matt, the reverse finely looped as you would expect. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and machine washable at 30 °C.

What Vanessa Grau is suitable for

• Shirts and long-sleeve tops, as the soft handle and crosswise stretch sit comfortably over shoulders and arms.
• Dresses and skirts, since 220 g/m² gives enough opacity and the fabric falls softly.
• Children's clothes and bodysuits, because the jersey is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and washes at 30 °C.
• Leggings, as 6% elastane provides recovery and the crosswise stretch wraps around the body.
