A soft Pink: the tone stays fresh through many washes and never turns towards grey. Colour code 018, weight 40, 200 m — the figures that let this same metallic tone be reordered. It is best to let the spool unroll horizontally rather than pull off vertically.
Set as an outline around a matt design, it changes the effect of the whole embroidery. This thread wants to be worked slowly. Drop the speed and loosen the tension and you get a clean seam. The spool belongs upright and dust-free in your box.

Which needle do I need?
A metallic needle. Its larger eye rubs less against the wrapping, which otherwise abrades. With an ordinary embroidery needle the thread breaks far more often, especially on dense designs.
Can I sew with it on a sewing machine?
For decorative seams yes, slowly and with loosened tension. For load-bearing seams it is unsuitable: the core holds, but the wrapping abrades along the seam over time.
What is the colour code for?
Metallic tones differ in nuances that are hard to describe. The code on the spool is therefore the only reliable detail when you want to restock the same shine.
Is the spool sold singly?
Yes, every spool is sold on its own. Since metallic thread is usually needed for single accents only, one spool often lasts across many projects without running out.
