With Azure Blue you cover the cool range. Beside orange and yellow it builds the strongest contrast there is. At 2500 m a cone lasts across several projects. The colour code reads 7556. The cone is sold singly.
For rolled hems this thread shows in the looper too — there the colour helps decide the look. An overlock thread without a special purpose: it neatens jersey as readily as wovens and adds hardly any bulk to either. To top up this tone later, note the colour code with your project.
What Trojalock Overlockgarn Azurblau is suitable for
- neatening cut edges on jersey
- coverstitch seams on cuffs
- looper threads in a neutral tone
Sewing tips

Frequently asked questions
How many cones do I need?
Four at once for the common four-thread stitch, three for the three-thread stitch. A seam in one colour throughout therefore needs several cones of that tone rather than one.
How do I set the tension?
A little lower than for sewing thread, since this one is more softly twisted. Sew a test strip on the same fabric and adjust from there rather than working from a table.
Why does my thread break?
Usually tension set too tight, a blunt needle or a wrong threading path. On an overlocker rethreading completely in the prescribed order pays off.
Which colour do I pick when I cannot match the fabric?
When unsure, take the slightly darker option. On a neatened edge a thread that is too light shows at once, while a darker one disappears into the cloth and stays discreet.
