Description

This thread shows Hot Pink. On white fabric your seam stays restrained, on dark cloth it steps forward clearly. The large cone carries 2500 m of overlock thread, printed with colour code 8813. The cone is sold singly.

A four-thread stitch needs four cones at once — so four of them in a single colour. An overlock thread without a special purpose: it neatens jersey as readily as wovens and adds hardly any bulk to either. To top up this tone later, note the colour code with your project. Keep to the looper order when threading, otherwise the stitch does not form.

What Trojalock Overlockgarn Pink is suitable for

  • neatening cut edges on jersey
  • rolled hems on light fabrics
  • seams on children's clothes washed often

Sewing tips

Frequently asked questions

How do I set the tension?

A little lower than for sewing thread, since this one is more softly twisted. Sew a test strip on the same fabric and adjust from there rather than working from a table.

Why does my thread break?

Usually tension set too tight, a blunt needle or a wrong threading path. On an overlocker rethreading completely in the prescribed order pays off.

How far does one cone go?

The large cones are built to survive several projects. How fast they empty depends on how many edges you neaten and how many threads you run.

Is the cone sold singly?

Yes, every cone on its own. For a seam in one colour throughout you order several; for coloured needle threads with neutral loopers one cone per tone often suffices.
