Description
Dusty Pink here is a powdery, slightly greyish pink without any sweetness. The curls give this shade depth, so it looks grown-up rather than playful.
The face side carries that typical boucle structure of small, densely set curls; reverse side is a smooth fleece in same tone. So fabric still looks good where it gets turned outward — at a lapel, at a folded cuff, along a hood edge. At 390 g/m² material has body, yet stays far lighter than its look suggests.
Handle is soft, dry, never slick. Those 150 cm give room when cutting, especially jackets whose front panels run whole. Dusty Pink sits well next to natural white, grey and burgundy.

Sewing tips
- Doubleface: Die Fleece-Abseite ist die fertige Innenseite. Westen und Jacken brauchen kein Futter.
- Weil man die Innenseite sieht, die Nähte sauber versäubern, als Kappnaht oder mit Schrägband eingefasst.
- Kanten mit Schrägband oder Bündchen einfassen. Fleece franst nicht, offene Kanten gehen also auch.
- Bei Paddy zeigt sich die abgesetzte Rückseite überall, wo der Stoff umgeschlagen wird, am Kragen, am Revers und an den Ärmelaufschlägen. Diese Stellen beim Zuschnitt bewusst einplanen.
- Alle Teile in dieselbe Strichrichtung zuschneiden.
- Universalnadel 90, Stichlänge 3, am besten mit Obertransportfuß.
- Nicht direkt bügeln, die Locken drücken sich sonst platt.
- Bei 30 Grad waschen, nicht in den Trockner.

Frequently asked questions
Which needle plus foot should I use?
A medium jersey needle passes cleanly through pile as well as ground. A walking foot or roller foot helps, since upper layer likes to shift inside pile. Sew two test seams on a scrap, then your settings are set.
Does this fabric shed when cut?
Yes, curls release short fibres while being cut. Using a rotary cutter over a mat instead of scissors leaves noticeably less behind, plus a handheld vacuum right next to your table saves you wiping up afterwards.
Do I have to finish raw edges?
This knit will never fray, so raw edges stay stable. Many sewists still overlock them, because seams then lie flatter, plus less pile travels out of seam allowances into your washing machine later.
How should I care about that boucle surface?
Wash at 30 degrees, no bleach, never tumble dry — heat pulls curls straight. Dry flat, then pile lifts again by itself. Iron only at low setting, working from fleece side rather than curled face.
