Description

Burgundy as a melange looks a shade more elegant than the plain solid: blended fibres let the wine red shift, almost like fine knitwear. A jumper in this shade reads ready-made while being sewn within hours. This French terry sits in the middle weight, draping softly, strengthening that premium impression. Mottled burgundy pairs happily beside camel, grey and natural white. Through December it becomes the grown-up alternative replacing classic Christmas red, gladly worn on afterwards. The melange comes of finely blended fibres, giving the surface a lively, subtly speckled depth. Garments appear less flat than plain solids, while small sewing irregularities barely show against the moving surface.

What should I keep in mind when washing?

Wash at 30 degrees inside out on a gentle cycle, without bleach, skipping the tumble dryer, then iron inside out at low temperature. Pre-wash before cutting, because French terry shrinks more than jersey does.
