The tone White Gold belongs to the natural shades: soft, warm and without signal value. Seams disappear into it by themselves. 200 m, weight 40, colour code 022: printed so the tone stays findable. Stitch considerably slower than with polyester thread, otherwise it breaks.
For festive decorations, occasion wear and anything meant to work in the light, this is the right pick. This thread wants to be worked slowly. Drop the speed and loosen the tension and you get a clean seam. The spool belongs upright and dust-free in your box. A test piece beforehand saves trouble in the middle of a design.

Sewing tips

Frequently asked questions
How fast may I stitch?
Considerably slower than with polyester. Friction in the needle eye warms the thread, and metal foil takes that worse than a smooth core. About half your usual speed is a good starting point.
Can I wash the piece?
Yes, at a gentle temperature. The shine survives as long as it is not washed hot or put through a dryer. For occasion wear hand washing is the safe option.
Which bobbin thread suits it?
A fine bobbin thread, as with any machine embroidery. Metallic thread belongs on top only; in the bobbin it would upset stitch formation and abrade in the hook.
Can I sew with it on a sewing machine?
For decorative seams yes, slowly and with loosened tension. For load-bearing seams it is unsuitable: the core holds, but the wrapping abrades along the seam over time.
