Blue is a tone with depth. On light ground your seam reads as a clean dark line. This small spool holds 50 m of effect thread, and the colour code reads 315. Ordinary sewing thread in a matching colour belongs in the bobbin.
For the bobbin take ordinary sewing thread in a matching colour, not the effect thread itself. This thread is more demanding than polyester, but it repays that with a shine no matt thread reaches. Note the colour code with your project. This small spool covers several accents.

Frequently asked questions
How fast may I stitch?
Considerably slower than with polyester. Friction in the needle eye warms the thread, and metal foil takes that worse than a smooth core. About half your usual speed is a good starting point.
May I iron over the embroidery?
No, not directly. Metal foil takes no direct heat and turns dull. If ironing is needed, work from the reverse with a cloth between and at a low temperature.
Can I wash the piece?
Yes, at a gentle temperature. The shine survives as long as it is not washed hot or put through a dryer. For occasion wear hand washing is the safe option.
Which bobbin thread suits it?
A fine bobbin thread, as with any machine embroidery. Metallic thread belongs on top only; in the bobbin it would upset stitch formation and abrade in the hook.
