Frequently asked questions
Can I steer where each colour lands?
Only partly. Stitch length influences the rhythm: long stitches show larger blocks of colour, short ones blend the tones more. The exact distribution stays with the stitch path.
How may I wash the piece?
As its fabric allows. The polyester is colourfast and every tone on the spool is set the same way, so no section bleeds into another.
What is the colour code for?
On a multi thread it matters more than usual: a sequence of tones is hard to put into words, but the code finds exactly this spool again, even years later.
Can I sew with it instead of embroidering?
For decorative seams yes. For load-bearing seams embroidery thread is the wrong pick, being built for sheen and suppleness rather than the strength a structural seam needs.
