Description

Ice blue is a very pale, cool blue with a grey cast. It reads fresh without being as childish as baby blue. 20 cm long — pick your length by the pattern piece rather than the paper pattern, since seam allowances and hem change the measurement.

3 mm of coil width — narrow enough for fine wovens, strong enough for the slider to grip securely. Store it flat and closed, ideally sorted by length. Folded, the tape keeps that crease, and you see it later along the sewn-in edge.

Sewing tips

  • Die angegebene Länge ist die Zahnlänge, nicht die Bandlänge. Für den Schlitz im Schnittmuster zählt die Zahnlänge.

  • Metallausführungen nicht bügeln; die Spitzenvariante nur von links und mit Tuch.
  • Zum Waschen schließen. Offene Zähne verhaken sich in Maschenware und ziehen Fäden.

This fastener is closed at the bottom: the slider runs onto a fixed stop and both halves stay joined. Your piece opens only along the teeth, never completely.

Which presser foot do I need?
