A clear white with no cream cast. On white or pale fabrics it stays discreet; on dark ones it turns into a design element. Its length is 20 cm. That is tooth length; the tape above it disappears into your seam allowance.
This version carries a fine 3 mm coil. On light fabrics it is the calmer choice against metal. On blouses and dresses the fine version suffices; on bags and rucksacks it may run stronger. Width decides less about durability than about how visible the fastener becomes.

Does it work on jersey?
Yes, if you stabilise the edge. A strip of interfacing or a narrow stay tape in the seam allowance stops that edge stretching as you sew and rippling later.
How do I care for the finished piece?
Close the fastener before every wash. The tape then will not distort and the teeth cannot catch in other laundry. Never press directly over the slider.
How exactly must the colour match?
On visible fastenings as closely as possible; on concealed ones a roughly matching tone will do. If unsure, take the next darker shade — one too pale stands out more.
What do I do with the tape ends?
They run into the seam allowance and are caught there. Fold them slightly outwards at an angle, so they add no bulk at the corner and the slider reaches the top.
