This thread shows Forest Green. On light ground your seam reads clearly, on dark it stays pleasantly restrained. Weight 40 and 400 m per spool are the figures for machine embroidery; colour code 1703 sits on the band. A net over the spool keeps the feed even and prevents loops.
For lettering and monograms the fineness is well chosen: letters do not close up. An embroidery thread without a special purpose: Polyneon works on wovens and knits alike, as long as the stabiliser suits your fabric. The spool belongs upright in your box so the thread does not unwind on its own.

Sewing tips
- Die Oberfadenspannung beim Sticken lockerer stellen als beim Nähen.

- Ein Fadennetz über der Spule verhindert, dass sich der Faden in Schlaufen legt.
- Nadelstärke 75 oder 80 mit Stickspitze reicht für die meisten Stoffe.
- Bei dichten Motiven langsamer sticken, sonst erhitzt der Faden und reißt.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate bobbin thread?
Yes. A fine bobbin thread belongs in the case, not this same embroidery thread. Otherwise the reverse builds bulk, a design ripples and your machine pulls more thread than it needs.
How far does one spool go?
It depends on your design: a monogram needs a few metres, a densely stitched area many times more. For recurring designs in one colour the larger spool pays off.
Does this thread shed lint?
Polyester sheds hardly any lint, unlike cotton thread. Even so, dust gathers in the hook area over time. Brushing it out monthly keeps your machine clean and stitching even.
Which colour suits which fabric?
Dark tones work on light ground, light tones on dark. When unsure, lay the thread on the fabric before stitching — on a screen every colour looks different than in your hand.
