Description
Pastel Blue is a cool tone that comes out especially clean on warm fabric. On denim it lies almost tone on tone. Each skein measures 8 m and holds 6 separate strands you can divide as needed. The skein is sold singly.
For monograms on linen cotton is the right pick: it reads matt and lies flat on the cloth. Stranded cotton belongs to the threads that have looked the same for generations. Stitch from an inherited chart and the tones are still there.

Sewing tips
- Den Strang nicht auseinanderziehen, sondern das Fadenende vorsichtig herausziehen.
- Zum Teilen die gewünschte Anzahl Fäden einzeln herausziehen und wieder zusammenlegen.
- Fadenlänge etwa 40 bis 50 Zentimeter — längere Fäden verdrehen sich und fransen.
- Eine Sticknadel mit stumpfer Spitze nimmt bei Zählstoffen die Löcher statt der Fäden.
- Vor dem Waschen des fertigen Stücks eine Farbprobe machen, besonders bei kräftigen Rottönen.

Frequently asked questions
How far does one skein go?
For a small to medium design usually well. If you plan a large area in one tone, two skeins are safer, since later batches can differ minimally.
How do I keep the skeins?
With their band, dry and out of the light. Without the band the colour number cannot be identified later, and that is exactly what you need when restocking a chart you started.
Can I stitch any cross stitch chart with it?
Yes, as long as the chart gives Anchor numbers or a conversion. The tones have been stable for a long time, so older charts still match the current range.
Why does it shine less than machine thread?
Because it is cotton rather than polyester. That matt character is intended: hand embroidery should read calm rather than shine like a machine-stitched surface.
