With Neon Flame you get a tone between red and white — delicate, but not pale. With 400 m on the spool and weight 40 this thread fits any embroidery machine. The colour code is 1907. The thread is wound smoothly and feeds without jerking.
On dark fabrics the sheen comes fully into its own — a design then lifts away in the light as well as in colour. Its sheen arises inside the polyester filament rather than from a coating — which is why it survives many washes.
What Madeira Polyneon Neon Flame is suitable for
- machine embroidery on cotton, sweat and terry
- area fill stitches where the sheen pays off
- embroidery on textiles washed hot
Sewing tips

Frequently asked questions
What is the colour code for?
It is the identity of this colour. With it you reorder the same tone years later, while comparing on a screen or from memory almost always misses.
How may I wash the finished piece?
As its fabric allows. The thread is boil-proof and chlorine-proof, so it sets no limit on temperature. That limit comes from the material you stitched on.
How far does one spool go?
It depends on your design: a monogram needs a few metres, a densely stitched area many times more. For recurring designs in one colour the larger spool pays off.
Can I sew with it?
For decorative seams yes, for load-bearing seams rather not. Embroidery thread is built for sheen and suppleness, not for the tensile strength a structural seam needs over years.
