A full Apple Green: the thread keeps a clean tone and holds its depth under artificial light too. 500 m at weight 100 — enough for several garments. Colour number 0092. Together with a sharp needle, stitch formation stays clean even on long seams.
It also serves for buttonholes and decorative stitches, being even in thickness and easy for a machine to guide. The spools are cleanly wound and feed without loops. For a single garment it is usually enough several times over. If you plan a large project in one colour, buy two spools rather than restock mid-seam.
Does it suit topstitching?
Yes, as long as your seam should stay flat. For deliberately thick decorative seams on jeans there is heavier thread; for clean, discreet topstitching this one is right.
How do I match the tone of an old seam?
Through the colour number if you still have it. Otherwise lay the thread straight onto the seam in daylight — artificial light shifts colours more than people expect.
Does this thread fit every sewing machine?
In the usual domestic machines yes. The spool sits on the normal pin; with a vertical pin a felt disc underneath helps the thread feed evenly.
