Description
Violet Blue sits in the blue range and reads deep or fresh depending on the fabric — the surroundings decide. 500 m, weight 100, colour number 0350: printed on the spool so the colour stays reorderable. Part-used spools keep their tone longest when stored upright and in the dark.
Troja has no place on an overlocker — softer overlock thread exists for that. In a sewing machine it is the obvious choice. A sewing thread without a special purpose: Troja is built to work on wovens and knits alike. The colour number belongs noted with your project — later you will not hit the tone otherwise.

- Ober- und Unterfaden in derselben Farbe nehmen, sonst blitzt der Unterfaden an der Naht durch.
- Bei dehnbaren Stoffen einen elastischen Stich wählen — das Garn selbst dehnt sich nicht.
- Angebrochene Spulen stehend und dunkel lagern, dann bleibt die Farbe frisch.
- Farbnummer zum Projekt notieren; nach Augenmaß trifft man den Ton selten wieder.

A universal needle in a medium size matches weight 100. For jersey take a ballpoint needle, for denim a jeans needle — the thread stays the same in both cases.
Which thread belongs on the bobbin?
This same thread in this same colour. Different tones above and below show along the seam as soon as your fabric moves. Only embroidery follows another rule.
Can I use this thread on an overlocker?
Better not. Overlock thread is softer and finer so the edge adds no bulk, and it comes on larger cones. Sewing thread runs restlessly in an overlocker and builds bulk.
How should I store the spools?
Upright, dry and out of the light. Direct sun bleaches the outer layers over time, and then the tone no longer matches the number on the spool.
