Mint is a tone that reads neither cold nor warm. That makes it straightforward on many fabrics. At 500 m per spool this thread goes a long way. Weight 100 suits the usual universal needles, and the colour number is 0229. The spool is sold singly, so you can top up one specific tone on purpose.
Troja has no place on an overlocker — softer overlock thread exists for that. In a sewing machine it is the obvious choice. Amann Troja is evenly twisted and therefore resilient. Your seam stays where you set it, even after many washes.

- Stärke 100 passt zu Universalnadeln der Stärken 70 bis 90.
- Ober- und Unterfaden in derselben Farbe nehmen, sonst blitzt der Unterfaden an der Naht durch.
- Bei dehnbaren Stoffen einen elastischen Stich wählen — das Garn selbst dehnt sich nicht.
- Angebrochene Spulen stehend und dunkel lagern, dann bleibt die Farbe frisch.
- Farbnummer zum Projekt notieren; nach Augenmaß trifft man den Ton selten wieder.

Can I use this thread on an overlocker?
Better not. Overlock thread is softer and finer so the edge adds no bulk, and it comes on larger cones. Sewing thread runs restlessly in an overlocker and builds bulk.
Which colour do I pick when I cannot match the fabric?
When unsure, take the slightly darker option. A darker thread disappears into the cloth, a lighter one shows at once, especially along seams that catch the light.
How should I store the spools?
Upright, dry and out of the light. Direct sun bleaches the outer layers over time, and then the tone no longer matches the number on the spool.
What is this thread made of?
It is a synthetic sewing thread, evenly twisted and therefore resilient. Unlike pure cotton it does not lose strength along a seam when washed often.
