Description

This thread shows Lemon. On dark fabrics it gives a clearly visible line, on light ones a soft tone-on-tone effect. 500 m at weight 100 — enough for several garments. Colour number 0115. The thread is evenly twisted and therefore runs through your machine without jerking.

If you sew a lot, stock the frequent tones. At 500 m a spool that lasts a while. Amann Troja is evenly twisted and therefore resilient. Your seam stays where you set it, even after many washes.

What Amann Troja Sewing Thread 500 m Lemon is suitable for

  • clothing from wovens and knits
  • home textiles such as curtains and covers
  • patchwork and quilting

Sewing tips

Frequently asked questions

Which needle suits this thread?

A universal needle in a medium size matches weight 100. For jersey take a ballpoint needle, for denim a jeans needle — the thread stays the same in both cases.

Why does my thread break?

Usually the thread is not at fault: a blunt needle, tension set too tight or a wrong threading path is. Change the needle first, then check the tension.

How should I store the spools?

Upright, dry and out of the light. Direct sun bleaches the outer layers over time, and then the tone no longer matches the number on the spool.

Does it suit topstitching?

Yes, as long as your seam should stay flat. For deliberately thick decorative seams on jeans there is heavier thread; for clean, discreet topstitching this one is right.
