Light Beige is a warm, muted tone. On linen, cotton and anything undyed your seam lies almost invisible in it. At 500 m per spool this thread goes a long way. Weight 100 suits the usual universal needles, and the colour number is 0779. The spool is sold singly, so you can top up one specific tone on purpose.

- Stärke 100 passt zu Universalnadeln der Stärken 70 bis 90.
- Ober- und Unterfaden in derselben Farbe nehmen, sonst blitzt der Unterfaden an der Naht durch.
- Bei dehnbaren Stoffen einen elastischen Stich wählen — das Garn selbst dehnt sich nicht.
- Angebrochene Spulen stehend und dunkel lagern, dann bleibt die Farbe frisch.
- Farbnummer zum Projekt notieren; nach Augenmaß trifft man den Ton selten wieder.

Which needle suits this thread?
A universal needle in a medium size matches weight 100. For jersey take a ballpoint needle, for denim a jeans needle — the thread stays the same in both cases.
Can I sew jersey with it?
Yes, but with a stretch stitch. The thread itself does not stretch; the give has to come from the stitch, otherwise your seam bursts at the first firm pull.
Why does my thread break?
Usually the thread is not at fault: a blunt needle, tension set too tight or a wrong threading path is. Change the needle first, then check the tension.
What is this thread made of?
It is a synthetic sewing thread, evenly twisted and therefore resilient. Unlike pure cotton it does not lose strength along a seam when washed often.
