Soft and warm: Skin Tone is the colour you pick on natural fabrics when your seam should merge with the cloth. At 500 m per spool this thread goes a long way. Weight 100 suits the usual universal needles, and the colour number is 1168. The spool is sold singly, so you can top up one specific tone on purpose.
For assembling as much as for topstitching: at weight 100 your seam lies flat and adds no bulk. Troja's colour range is broad enough to find a matching tone for most fabrics — and the number makes that tone findable again.

- Stärke 100 passt zu Universalnadeln der Stärken 70 bis 90.
- Ober- und Unterfaden in derselben Farbe nehmen, sonst blitzt der Unterfaden an der Naht durch.
- Bei dehnbaren Stoffen einen elastischen Stich wählen — das Garn selbst dehnt sich nicht.
- Angebrochene Spulen stehend und dunkel lagern, dann bleibt die Farbe frisch.
- Farbnummer zum Projekt notieren; nach Augenmaß trifft man den Ton selten wieder.

This same thread in this same colour. Different tones above and below show along the seam as soon as your fabric moves. Only embroidery follows another rule.
Can I sew jersey with it?
Yes, but with a stretch stitch. The thread itself does not stretch; the give has to come from the stitch, otherwise your seam bursts at the first firm pull.
Does this thread fit every sewing machine?
In the usual domestic machines yes. The spool sits on the normal pin; with a vertical pin a felt disc underneath helps the thread feed evenly.
What is this thread made of?
It is a synthetic sewing thread, evenly twisted and therefore resilient. Unlike pure cotton it does not lose strength along a seam when washed often.
