Pumpkin is a warm, strong tone between red and yellow. It reads friendly rather than loud and still stays clearly visible. Each spool holds 820 m of thread at weight 40; the band carries colour code 1025. The polyester is dyed through, so this tone stays the same after many washes.
Poly Deco is made for the embroidery machine: this thread runs calmly even at high stitch counts and takes the strain inside a design. Poly Deco by Sulky is a polyester embroidery thread with a high sheen. It is tear-resistant and colourfast, takes boil washing and keeps its tone after years in a sewing box.

- Für Stickmaschinen die Oberfadenspannung etwas lockerer stellen als beim Nähen.
- Als Unterfaden gehört ein dünnes Untergarn, nicht dasselbe Stickgarn.
- Die Spule so aufstecken, dass der Faden gleichmäßig abläuft — ein Fadennetz verhindert Schlaufen.
- Zu schnelles Sticken lässt den Faden reißen; bei dichten Motiven das Tempo drosseln.
- Stickvlies passend zum Stoff wählen: Die schönste Farbe nützt nichts, wenn sich das Motiv wellt.
- Farbnummer notieren, dann lässt sich dieselbe Farbe später eindeutig nachbestellen.

This thread is boil-proof and colourfast. What decides is your fabric, not the thread: wash the piece as its material allows. Even hot washing leaves the tone unchanged.
Do I need stabiliser?
Yes, almost always. Stabiliser holds your fabric steady in the hoop so a design does not distort. Which one depends on the fabric: tear-away for wovens, cut-away for stretch.
Is the spool sold singly?
Yes, every spool is available on its own. That lets you restock one specific tone instead of ordering a whole assortment of which you need only half.
Which colour should the bobbin thread be?
White under light fabrics, black under dark ones. On sheer material take a look from the right side before stitching: the wrong bobbin thread shimmers through a design.
