Indigo Blue is a tone with depth. On light ground your seam reads as a clean dark line. 820 m, weight 40, colour code 1198 — printed on the spool so the tone stays findable. Spools ship singly, so you can top up one specific tone on purpose.
On terry and sweat this thread adds hardly any bulk while staying clearly visible — exactly what an embroidery thread should do. A glossy polyester thread with no coating: the shimmer arises inside the filament and therefore stays permanently. Before your first design a test piece on the same fabric pays off — then tension and stitch density are right.

- Für Stickmaschinen die Oberfadenspannung etwas lockerer stellen als beim Nähen.
- Als Unterfaden gehört ein dünnes Untergarn, nicht dasselbe Stickgarn.
- Die Spule so aufstecken, dass der Faden gleichmäßig abläuft — ein Fadennetz verhindert Schlaufen.
- Zu schnelles Sticken lässt den Faden reißen; bei dichten Motiven das Tempo drosseln.
- Stickvlies passend zum Stoff wählen: Die schönste Farbe nützt nichts, wenn sich das Motiv wellt.

Does this thread shed lint in the machine?
Polyester sheds hardly any lint, unlike cotton. Even so, dust gathers in the hook area over time. Brushing it out once a month keeps your machine clean.
How do I hoop the fabric properly?
Taut like a drum skin, but without stretching the cloth. Pull it and you get ripples once it comes out. On stretch material a fusible stabiliser on the reverse helps as well.
