Description
Honey is not a tone for hiding. It belongs where things are meant to be seen. 820 m at weight 40 — enough for many designs before a spool runs out. Colour code 1914. This tone is lightfast, which counts above all on pieces that sit permanently by a window.
For embroidering towels, children's clothes and linen: this thread is boil-proof, so a design survives hot washing too. Boil-proof, colourfast, tear-resistant — Poly Deco brings the three qualities an embroidery thread needs on everyday textiles. Before your first design a test piece on the same fabric pays off — then tension and stitch density are right.
What Sulky Poly Deco Embroidery Thread 820 m Honey is suitable for
- appliqué on children's clothes
- quilting stitches as a design element
- labelling bags and gym sacks
Sewing tips

Frequently asked questions
What do I do when the thread breaks?
Usually your machine runs too fast or the tension is too tight. Slow down, loosen the tension and check whether the thread catches anywhere. A net over the spool keeps the feed even.
How do I plan several colours in one design?
Fix the sequence beforehand and lay the spools out in that order. You lose no time at each change and mix up no tones that look alike on screen.
Which colour do I pick for which design?
Dark tones work on light fabric, light tones on dark. When unsure, lay the thread on the cloth before stitching — every colour looks different on a screen.
Does this thread shed lint in the machine?
Polyester sheds hardly any lint, unlike cotton. Even so, dust gathers in the hook area over time. Brushing it out once a month keeps your machine clean.
