Description
This thread shows Burgundy, strong and without a grey veil. That is exactly what a saturated tone should do. This large 820 m spool copes with densely stitched areas too. Weight 40, colour code 1190. The polyester is dyed through, so this tone stays the same after many washes.
On dark fabrics this sheen comes out best. A design then lifts away not just by colour but by light as well. Sulky Poly Deco shines without reading metallic. The thread stays soft enough for a finished design to feel pleasant.

Sewing tips
- Für Stickmaschinen die Oberfadenspannung etwas lockerer stellen als beim Nähen.
- Als Unterfaden gehört ein dünnes Untergarn, nicht dasselbe Stickgarn.
- Die Spule so aufstecken, dass der Faden gleichmäßig abläuft — ein Fadennetz verhindert Schlaufen.
- Zu schnelles Sticken lässt den Faden reißen; bei dichten Motiven das Tempo drosseln.
- Stickvlies passend zum Stoff wählen: Die schönste Farbe nützt nichts, wenn sich das Motiv wellt.
- Farbnummer notieren, dann lässt sich dieselbe Farbe später eindeutig nachbestellen.

How do I set the thread tension?
While embroidering the top tension may sit slightly looser than for sewing. It is right when the reverse shows roughly one third top thread and two thirds bobbin thread.
Does the sheen survive washing?
Yes. That shimmer arises inside the polyester filament rather than from a coating. So it is lost neither in the wash nor under an iron, as long as your fabric takes the treatment.
How do I plan several colours in one design?
Fix the sequence beforehand and lay the spools out in that order. You lose no time at each change and mix up no tones that look alike on screen.
Which colour should the bobbin thread be?
White under light fabrics, black under dark ones. On sheer material take a look from the right side before stitching: the wrong bobbin thread shimmers through a design.
