Description
A full Mud: the thread brings depth without reading as hard as black. 820 m at weight 40 — enough for many designs before a spool runs out. Colour code 1180. Spools ship singly, so you can top up one specific tone on purpose.
If a design needs several tones, combine within the palette: spools look coherent side by side because the material is the same. A glossy polyester thread with no coating: the shimmer arises inside the filament and therefore stays permanently.

Sewing tips
- Für Stickmaschinen die Oberfadenspannung etwas lockerer stellen als beim Nähen.
- Als Unterfaden gehört ein dünnes Untergarn, nicht dasselbe Stickgarn.
- Die Spule so aufstecken, dass der Faden gleichmäßig abläuft — ein Fadennetz verhindert Schlaufen.
- Zu schnelles Sticken lässt den Faden reißen; bei dichten Motiven das Tempo drosseln.
- Stickvlies passend zum Stoff wählen: Die schönste Farbe nützt nichts, wenn sich das Motiv wellt.
- Farbnummer notieren, dann lässt sich dieselbe Farbe später eindeutig nachbestellen.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate bobbin thread?
Yes. A fine bobbin thread belongs in the case, not this embroidery thread. Otherwise the reverse builds up bulk and your design ripples. Bobbin thread comes in black and white.
How should I store the spools?
Upright, dry and out of direct light. Polyester is lightfast, but dust on the thread carries lint into your machine. A closed box is the simplest answer.
Does the sheen survive washing?
Yes. That shimmer arises inside the polyester filament rather than from a coating. So it is lost neither in the wash nor under an iron, as long as your fabric takes the treatment.
How do I plan several colours in one design?
Fix the sequence beforehand and lay the spools out in that order. You lose no time at each change and mix up no tones that look alike on screen.
