Sun Yellow is not a tone for hiding. It belongs where things are meant to be seen. Each spool holds 820 m of thread at weight 40; the band carries colour code 1187. Inside a design the thread lies flat and covers the ground reliably.
For embroidering towels, children's clothes and linen: this thread is boil-proof, so a design survives hot washing too. The material is polyester, the finish smooth and even. Together that gives a thread which lies calmly inside a design and does not fray.

Sewing tips
- Für Stickmaschinen die Oberfadenspannung etwas lockerer stellen als beim Nähen.
- Als Unterfaden gehört ein dünnes Untergarn, nicht dasselbe Stickgarn.
- Die Spule so aufstecken, dass der Faden gleichmäßig abläuft — ein Fadennetz verhindert Schlaufen.
- Zu schnelles Sticken lässt den Faden reißen; bei dichten Motiven das Tempo drosseln.
- Stickvlies passend zum Stoff wählen: Die schönste Farbe nützt nichts, wenn sich das Motiv wellt.
- Farbnummer notieren, dann lässt sich dieselbe Farbe später eindeutig nachbestellen.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate bobbin thread?
Yes. A fine bobbin thread belongs in the case, not this embroidery thread. Otherwise the reverse builds up bulk and your design ripples. Bobbin thread comes in black and white.
How do I set the thread tension?
While embroidering the top tension may sit slightly looser than for sewing. It is right when the reverse shows roughly one third top thread and two thirds bobbin thread.
What do I do when the thread breaks?
Usually your machine runs too fast or the tension is too tight. Slow down, loosen the tension and check whether the thread catches anywhere. A net over the spool keeps the feed even.
Do I need stabiliser?
Yes, almost always. Stabiliser holds your fabric steady in the hoop so a design does not distort. Which one depends on the fabric: tear-away for wovens, cut-away for stretch.
