With Light Red you set a clear accent. On light fabrics your seam stands out, on dark ones it stays warmly visible. This large 820 m spool copes with densely stitched areas too. Weight 40, colour code 1511. Beyond the sheen it is mainly tear resistance that separates this thread from matt sewing thread.
On dark fabrics this sheen comes out best. A design then lifts away not just by colour but by light as well. Poly Deco belongs to the glossy embroidery threads. That sheen comes from the polyester itself rather than a coating, so it is not lost in the wash.

Sewing tips
- Für Stickmaschinen die Oberfadenspannung etwas lockerer stellen als beim Nähen.
- Als Unterfaden gehört ein dünnes Untergarn, nicht dasselbe Stickgarn.
- Die Spule so aufstecken, dass der Faden gleichmäßig abläuft — ein Fadennetz verhindert Schlaufen.
- Zu schnelles Sticken lässt den Faden reißen; bei dichten Motiven das Tempo drosseln.
- Stickvlies passend zum Stoff wählen: Die schönste Farbe nützt nichts, wenn sich das Motiv wellt.

How far does one spool go?
That depends on your design. A monogram needs a few metres, a densely stitched area many times more. This large spool is sized to survive several projects.
Does the sheen survive washing?
Yes. That shimmer arises inside the polyester filament rather than from a coating. So it is lost neither in the wash nor under an iron, as long as your fabric takes the treatment.
Why does my design ripple?
Usually the stitch count is too dense or stabiliser is missing. Reduce stitch density in your software, add the right stabiliser and hoop the fabric taut but not stretched.
