Sea Blue is a cool tone that comes out especially clean on warm fabric. On denim it lies almost tone on tone. This large 820 m spool copes with densely stitched areas too. Weight 40, colour code 1029. This thread is meant as much for an embroidery machine as for decorative stitches on a sewing machine.
If a design needs several tones, combine within the palette: spools look coherent side by side because the material is the same. As a polyester filament Poly Deco resists light and washing. Curtains and outdoor textiles keep their tone with it for a long time.

Sewing tips
- Für Stickmaschinen die Oberfadenspannung etwas lockerer stellen als beim Nähen.
- Als Unterfaden gehört ein dünnes Untergarn, nicht dasselbe Stickgarn.
- Die Spule so aufstecken, dass der Faden gleichmäßig abläuft — ein Fadennetz verhindert Schlaufen.
- Zu schnelles Sticken lässt den Faden reißen; bei dichten Motiven das Tempo drosseln.
- Stickvlies passend zum Stoff wählen: Die schönste Farbe nützt nichts, wenn sich das Motiv wellt.
- Farbnummer notieren, dann lässt sich dieselbe Farbe später eindeutig nachbestellen.

Do I need a separate bobbin thread?
Yes. A fine bobbin thread belongs in the case, not this embroidery thread. Otherwise the reverse builds up bulk and your design ripples. Bobbin thread comes in black and white.
How may I wash the finished piece?
This thread is boil-proof and colourfast. What decides is your fabric, not the thread: wash the piece as its material allows. Even hot washing leaves the tone unchanged.
How far does one spool go?
That depends on your design. A monogram needs a few metres, a densely stitched area many times more. This large spool is sized to survive several projects.
How do I hoop the fabric properly?
Taut like a drum skin, but without stretching the cloth. Pull it and you get ripples once it comes out. On stretch material a fusible stabiliser on the reverse helps as well.
